I am in love with design blog, The Marion House Book.
Ms. Reddington’s bedroom, which resides in a Victorian, changes with the seasons in Toronto. Currently, she has decorated her bed with kilim pillows and textiles from her travels. It’s wonderful that she didn’t let the architecture dictate her interior design, and instead juxtaposed the styles to create complexity and surprise.
I love the Moroccan, bohemian, and rustic feeling embodied in this space! That woven tagine on the nightstand looks fun for storage (reading glasses, etc.) and fits well with the theme.
Placing the fig tree in the bay window area behind the headboard is a stroke of genius; look at the light filtering through the leaves! And to wake and sleep under such a canopy–magical.
